中国企業の海外進出が加速する中で、知的財産権紛争が増加している。これに対応するため、国家知識産権局（CNIPA）は企業の海外における知的財産権の保護を支援する一連の措置を講じている。同局の知的財産権保護司の宋副司長は、9月4日に行われた記者発表会で、これまでに1000回の研修を実施し、延べ37万人が参加したことを報告した。これにより、海外での知的財産権保護の意識と能力が向上したと述べている。今年上半期だけで、166件の海外知的財産権紛争の対応を指導した。
宋副司長によれば、CNIPAは今後も企業の海外での知的財産権保護への支援をさらに拡大する方針である。中国は29の省・自治区・直轄市に71カ所の海外知財紛争対応指導サブセンターを設立し、海外では5つの国家で紛争対応指導センターが活用されているという。
